Cleaning Contents After a Fire

This figurine was found in a home that encountered an electrical fire in Waukegan, IL from a fish tank. This home had a collection of figurines that were covered in soot and smoke damage. SERVPRO of Gurnee's ultrasonic machine was key in salvaging this valuable treasure after a fire. The ultrasonic machine submerges contents in water with a cleaning solution and when turned on allows for gentle agitation with the use of tiny microscopic bubbles. The microscopic bubbles are able to clean all the small details of the figurine where soot has settled. The result is a cleaned and restored figurine in just thirty seconds.
